Ever Homeward/Powrót - Frank Sinatra (spiewa po polsku!!!)

W 1947 roku Frank Sinatra odegrał rolę księdza w filmie “The Miracle of the Bells“. W filmie wykonywany jest utwór “Ever Homeward“, angielska wersja starej polskiej piosenki ““Powrót“ Kazimierza Lubomirskiego. Później, 8 grudnia 1947 Sinatra nagrał tę piosenkę z orkiestrą Axel Stordahl dla wytwórni Columbia Records. W tym nagraniu Sinatra śpiewał ją zarówno w języku angielskim, jak i polskim. W styczniu 1982 r. w czasie stanu wojennego zaśpiewał ją także w amerykańskiej telewizji w programie “ “Let Poland Be Poland“ (Niech Polska będzie Polską). Posłuchajcie... This song is an English adaption of the Polish traditional song “Powrót“ by Kazimierz Lubomirski. On 8 December 1947 Sinatra also made a recording of the song “Ever Homeward“ with an orchestra conducted by Axel Stordahl for his record label Columbia Records.
