Title reads: “Pantomime Rehearsal“. Adelphi Theatre, London. Various shots of showgirls / dancers rehearsing on stage. C/U of producer, Bob Nesbitt. M/S of actor Arthur Riscoe (who plays Widow Twankey in production of “Aladdin“) singing along to piano. Arthur has his arm around a blonde women, he leans over pianist’s shoulder to read the music. He is singing a song about a “whatnot“. Bob enters calling Arthur’s name. Various shots of the showgirls rehearsing their tap dancing and ballet routines. The girls do not wear their costumes - just simple blouses or tunics. The blonde woman (choreographer?) paces in front of them giving instructions. M/S of three actors rehearsing on stage. They are Jean Colin (the Princess), Edwin Styles (Abanazar) and Elsie Randolph (Aladdin). They are practising a scene where evil Abanazar has kidnapped the Princess.
