Lord Shen/Lianne - I Know Those Eyes/This Man Is Dead

This was recommended to me by the wonderful PrincessofBirds357, and I thought that the music fit absolutely perfectly with a upcoming scene in my Kung Fu Panda fanfiction “The Vow“. Check it out here: Swan!Odette plays my OC Lianne, who was Shen’s former fiancée before he was banished. Now with Shen returned to power, he believes Lianne betrayed him and this scene is their confrontation. I also apologise for for some of the breaks in the picture. I don’t know why that happened, and I don’t know how to fix it -_- SUMMARY: Lianne recognises Shen, though previously had believed him dead, and although thirty years have passed, she still recognises the younger version of him that she fell in love with. She wonders if that side of him is still in his heart. Shen however, is less then courteous, proclaiming that the man she once loved is dead, and in his place is nothing but the need for vengeance. He is angry with her that she betrayed him, and their confrontation quickly turns into a shouting match. Lianne tries to escape, but is prevented, Shen mockingly throwing her flowers though she tears them apart. Shen shouts at her for not conforming to his plans, but when she is frightened, he calms himself, unable to hurt her. They both regret what has brought them to this, but Shen will not go back to how things were, and he has nothing left to say to her. Lianne is allowed to flee to the gardens where she weeps, hurt from his words. Music is from the Count of Monte Cristo Musical. And I hope you like the video! Remember, I own nothing!
