一絃琴本曲「土佐海」より。清虚洞一絃琴無音荘にて演奏。背景の海はもちろん高知の海です。演奏のスタイルは昔、武士や文人など男性が演奏していた膝に携えての形をとっています。一絃琴の手事で波の行きかう様が表現されています。たった一本の絃から奏でられるそのシンプルな美しさと一本とは思えぬ音の豊かさをお楽しみください。一絃琴はもともとは人にお聴かせするものではない、自分の心のために演奏するとも言われています。その音に耳を澄ましていくと心が平らかになっていくことを感じていただけることでしょう。It is based on Ichigen-kin Honkyoku “Tosa no Umi“(Sea of Tosa) = is now Kochi prefecture. Played at Muonsou of Seikyodo Ichigenkin scholl in Tokyo. The style of performance takes the form of carrying ichigenkin on the knees which men such as samurai and literary men played in the past. I hope you can feel the way of waves by tegoto (long interlude) of Ichigenkin. Please enjoy the simple beauty played from only one string and the richness of the sound that you cannot imagine from one is said that Ichigen-kin is originally not played for people but for their own heart and mental training.
