British-Palestinian ‘received death threats’ for advocating peace with Israel

A British-Palestinian man said he had “received death threats“ after advocating for a peaceful solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict. John Aziz attended the ’No to Terror’ rally in central London on Sunday 25 January, which called for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. Mr Aziz said that rhetoric between Palestinians and Israelis during the war in Gaza was becoming “irreconcilable” and that he had been disowned by one family member in recent months.
