Rob Amchin—Nonverbal lesson part 1—Folk Dance “Alewander“

This is one of several videos of a lesson using gesture and non-verbal teaching with my music education majors. Here a dance was taught through imitation. The dance included, movement improvisation, form, rhythm, body percussion and pulse started as part of this first part of a longer class. This was taped using my iPad. The music is from a collection of Austrian folk dances I collected when I was in Salzburg.
