After Spending the previous two years dabbling in everything from kiddie flicks (Jimmy the Boy Wonder) to rock’n’roll films (The Blast-Off Girls), HERSCHELL GORDON LEWIS finally returned to the horror genre in 1967 with A Taste Of Blood. Although back on familiar ground, A Taste Of Blood marked a departure for Lewis for several reasons: it dealt with a more traditional horror theme (vampirism), was a lot more character driven than the earlier, ground-breaking “Blood Trilogy,“ and had a running time of a who
