AYANEO KUN Unboxing First look

AYANEO KUN Unboxing First look AYANEO has finally launched the KUN, a Steam Deck alternative on account of its similar input methods and gamepad buttons. The AYANEO KUN has a larger display though, as well as a 75 Wh battery, an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U APU and up to 64 GB of RAM. The AYANEO KUN is now available to back on Indiegogo following months of teasers. For reference, the KUN is one of two gaming handhelds that AYANEO plans to bring to Indiegogo this week, with the other being the Pocket Air. While AYANEO has positioned the Pocket Air as a more affordable gaming handheld, the AYANEO KUN starts at a heady US$999 with just 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB is worth noting that all AYANEO KUN units ship with the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U, unlike the GPD Win Mini. Additionally, AYANEO offers its gaming handheld with 32 GB or 64 GB of RAM and 1 TB, 2 TB or 4 TB of storage split across three configurations: 16 GB RAM/512 GB SSD - US$999 32 GB RAM/1 TB SSD - US$1,159 32 GB RAM/2 TB SSD - US$1,259 64 GB RAM/4 TB SSD - US$1,699 In summary, the AYANEO combines AMD’s most powerful 7040U series APU with a 1600p display and a 75 Wh battery, plus enough gamepad buttons and input methods to rival the Steam Deck. As we discussed previously, AYANEO hopes to begin shipping the KUN next month, regardless of the configuration chosen. However, it is worth noting that the company usually dispatches Indiegogo orders in batches. Hence, it could take AYANEO until November or December before it finishes sending out initial KUN units.
