French Soldiers Being Vaccinated Against Typhoid (1914-1918)

French soldiers being vaccinated. Location of events unknown - France? World War One; medical. French soldiers receive vaccination against typhoid. MS soldiers lined up at building w/ a small Red Cross flag hanging from it - each man salutes a medical officer who asks him something; some are sent inside; others sent off other way. Officer & some others then enter the building (which by the way looks like a nice vine-covered cottage). A few frames that don’t belong to this story. MS soldiers sit w/ shoulder & back uncovered; 1 doctor (?) or medical assistant - first performs test; which looks as if he’s painting something on their backs - a triangular spot; w/ a darker; smaller spot on top. Then a doctor w/ the needle & syringe w/ vaccine follows him round behind the men; 1st man stands. CU man’s back; doctor’s hand grabbing the painted spot between his fingers; and w/ other hand; injecting the vaccine. Back to MS scene.
