Vincent Zhou announces his 2021-22 Free Skate music to “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon“

Vincent Zhou: I’m very excited to announce my 2021-22 Free Skate music: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. This program is one of my all-time favorites - so over the past few weeks, I’ve worked with Lori Nichol to reimagine the choreography and bring new life to the program. Returning to this free skate for the upcoming season is so important to me for many reasons. As a Chinese American, and the son of Chinese immigrants, skating this program says very clearly what I firmly believe: I am proud of my heritage, I am proud of my culture, and I am proud to be Asian-American. The prospect of skating this program at the 2022 Olympic games in Beijing would be a dream come true, and would make all of what I said even more meaningful to me. Finally, as we close Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage month, I’d like to say very clearly to our community: you are valued, you are important, and you are loved.
