After the success of Ferrari’s F40 supercar, the Ferrari F50 was billed as an F1 car for the road, using a race-proven V12 engine and cutting edge engineering. But it was always considered a bit of a difficult second album, and often lived in the shadow of its groundbreaking predecessor.
