But for a researcher in ancient Egyptian art & culture, the choreographers behind the show have unfortunately failed to capture the true essence & depth of ancient Egyptian body language as depicted in countless paintings on the Temple & tomb walls. Thus the dancers have given a good show that was primarily inspired/influenced by western/American distorted choreography of how the ancient Egyptian walked & danced. In the Royal Mummies Parade, the Egyptian choreographers have unwittingly/foolishly relied on the body movement made popular (since 1986) by the famous song called “ Walk like an Egyptian” الرقص اللى إحن
