Opening Theme Song for the Pre-Robotech Harmony Gold Dub of ’Macross’ (and Live-Action Closing)

This is the opening/closing sequences of a rare VHS of the first three episodes of Macross dubbed by Harmony Gold. The opening song is a theme later used as background music in Robotech, but here with some seriously ham-fisted lyrics. It’s composed by Ulpio Minucci (who scored the Robotech TV series proper as well), with lyrics by Arlon Ober. Closed Captioned for your enjoyment!
