Foggy Dude - Tree lads and the Demon Lady

Gypsy jazz folk punk horror story about a band that wanders into a haunted bar where a demonic lady plays a piano. They start to jam and soon they find out that they can’t stop playing and the tempo is accelerating. The guitar player and the drummer die, however the bass player manages to play until dawn (because bass players just do pam, pam). The lady is then freed while the bass player is now bound to play in the haunted bar until somebody can play until dawn again (probably another bassist). Yep, you read that right. I really hope no bass players will read this. In a dark alley of the city called Black Star These three lads were ramblin’ ’round as they saw an ancient bar Emptiness and ages cast upon their souls poor As this bar opened it’s dirty wooden doors First is John, the six strings master and a Merry rake Second is Jack and with his bass he makes the glasses break Third is Jim the Pounder Drunken away? This Fearless lot unaware That they just lost their way Ref.: The demon eyes that mirror starless skies The crimson gown, the palest tones On the poorest of all thrones The keys are hit In a second’s split Run run run away Before she makes you play! 2. The Gaunt barkeep pours an ale As they look around The haunting music pleasing their ears It’s a stunning sound The tiny miss at the piano She steals their sight “Come and play“ says “I don’t bite“ The jam starts, tempos rise The heat goes up The three lads realize that they Cannot stop Six strings John bursts his fingers First to drift away The drummer’s face blackens His soul is next to pay 3. The night ends and the music still Fills the air The bass lad and a demon lady The fight is fair The sun rises the music stops And the bar disappears Two dead, she’s alive Now he’s doomed to play!
