#particleaccelerator #jigs #irishtrads Yes, it is a particle accelerator. Yes we got drunk there too. We like to play instrumental irish trads so that’s why we included them in our concert set. These two jigs were composed by us and the second one has an interesting story to it. While our mandolin player was doing his Erasmus in Ireland, he attended a course called Math & Music. There he got to try some algorithmic composition and he decided to compose some jigs. None of the pieces was any good but he took the best musical ideas out of themand put them together and thats how the second jig was written.
