Origami Pull-the-Tail Barking Dog - COOLEST Action Model!!!

[Simple] How to fold a variation of Paul Jackson’s Barking Dog, which is one of the most awesome action models in origami (right up there with the Flapping Bird and Spring into Action). When you pull the tail, the head lifts upward like a dog does when it barks. Paul Jackson’s original version of his Barking Dog, which has a shorter neck and a more angled back, can be found in this book: Origami Toys: That Tumble, Fly and Spin I learned this variation decades ago but I discovered a new way to fold it (at least I think it’s new!) which I teach in this video. This model is also great because it can stand upright. It can also spread its “legs“ apart and resemble a dog head airplane (but it doesn’t fly well). If you bring the two flaps further up so that the enclose the head, it can become a nice pop-up card.
