A dedicated performer of Sattriya dance Anwesa Mahanta is a disciple of the maestro of Sattriya tradition Bayanacharya Ghanakanta Bora. At present, she is pursuing her research in the field of “Performing Arts and Oral Tradition“ in Delhi University under the guidance of eminent folklorist of the country Prof. P.C Pattanaik.
