Stephen Heller - Etude Op. 46, No. 11

Stephen Heller (May 15, 1813 - Jan. 14 1888) was a Hungarian pianist, teacher, and composer. At the age of 9, Heller was sent to study under Carl Czerny in Vienna. However, he soon after realized Czerny’s fees were too expensive, and found a new teacher. During his teenage years Heller toured across Europe with the help of his father. At 25 Heller travelled to Paris where he became acquainted with Berlioz, Chopin, and Liszt among others. Sheet music: ,(Heller,_Stephen)
