Yshai Afterman Quintet - One Day - Album recording session

The song is called “One Day“ and the video was taken in the studio while we recorded the album! I wrote this song during a period in my life that I was touring 160 days a year on average. Its a prayer for myself to find the strength to look truthfuly on my path and see what are my real dreams and what are phantom ones that I took upon myself. “One day I will stop this endless run, Save myself from my self - My life is too important to be wasted on images. I’m addicted to images - there is nothing there! How can I ignore the fact that one day I will die - and I will ask myself how could I?! How could I be so blind - a slave to all of these lies?! These phantom ambitions have taken over my life! I know love will be the only thing to hold when I die. So I’v got to find the power to leave them all, and open my eyes - See the colors in the skies when the sun sets over the sea...
