Rediscovered in my vinyl collection. THE WHITE LABEL SERIES (white labels were often blank or with a plain sticker attached): CHEEKY TRAX 27 (I Will Survive) [attributed to ATB]. Attributed to ATB from playlists of the era and conversations with professional DJs. White labels were often used as an inexpensive way to get music out on vinyl to the club djs around the turn of the century. White Label issues usually were considered underground. Not much credit information is available on these tracks and the sampling ... The RPM on this single played at 33 1/3 too slow and at 45 rpm it reached the peak of the era’s obsession with high RPMs. I reduced the RPM on this version as many DJs did at the time from my experience.
