Recorded soon after 2021’s The Sundering, but weighted with a suitably patient gravity to drop now, it continues their boundary immolating journey through metal’s subgenres. A seething, molten mix of spacious death metal, with charred doom undercurrents that mix like cooling lava with a harsher environment of melodic blackened malice into a richly dark album of haunting atmosphere.
