IHHP - Gunbalanya “Time to Make a Change”

IHHP absolutely loved visiting the stunning stone country of Gunbalanya in West Arnhem Land again. The IHHP team worked closely with Gunbalanya Community School students and community members to produce a strong and proud project; Time to Make a Change. The theme of this project is ‘rayek’ – strong in heart, strong in mind. The message of the project is to make strong choices, connect with culture and spend time with each other. The students and community members showcased their incredible natural talents in their lyric writing, singing, music and dancing. Huge shout out to the songmen who created the chorus, and the community dancers and elders for leading the cultural dancing session. The students of Gunbalanya have exceptional talent and it is incredible to see that talent showcased within this project.
