Lucan Smiles - Starstrukk (3OH!3 Cover)

For my third cover I chose the song ’Starstrukk’ by American electropop duo 3OH!3 featuring Katy Perry because it is one of the songs I wish I had written. I remember falling in love with the song at the first listen back in 2008. For my cover I decided to wrap the electro-esque song into a new shell (in my mind to be on par with such an amazing song is too much of a hassle, so you got to do it differently) beginning acoustically but towards the end changing back to mainstream pop incorporating dubstep-ish
