VNTM invites artists performing at his Amsterdam-based event, Mindscape, to collaborate by using the stems and reinterpreting his works. For Open Source 005, Luigi Tozzi will oversee the reinterpretation of “Oiseaux.“ The original VNTM track is a contemporary dancefloor stunner that begins in media res. It reveals VNTM’s edgier side, with a rougher texture and his signature melodic elements shining through, evoking emotive and mysterious spheres. The track’s steady percussive drive caters to the darker and more expressive dance floors. At the same time, its shiny melodic elements inspire imagination, creating a mindscape that exists somewhere between the dancefloor reality and a dream.
