Sergej Krylov (violin), Juraj Valčuha (conductor) Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana Erich Wolfgang Korngold (1897 - 1957) - Violin Concerto in D, Moderato nobile Romance Allegro assai vivace Dedicated to Alma Mahler, Korngold’s Violin Concerto was the first piece he composed after the end of the World War II. It was inspired by Bronislaw Huberman and premiered by Jascha Heifetz. The concerto now has a prominent place in violinists’ repertoire.
