To say this Italian bowl back mandolin had been at death’s door for decades would be an understatement - So I decided to restore it during lockdown, then I remembered this delicate piece from the score of ‘Captain Corelli’s Mandolin’ and thought they’d make a fitting pair. Also, my audio interface died on me a while back, closely followed by my computer and recording and editing software - so this ended up 100% acoustic iPhone! 😂
