Extreme White Glove Rifle Inspection Changing of the Guard, Part 1 Updated

Arlington National Cemetery. Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Unlike every American soldier, sailor, airman or Marine, the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier do not wear rank insignia on their coats when guarding the tomb. Since the fallen inside the tomb are unknown, and no one knows what rank they actually were, Tomb Guards don’t wear visible rank so they don’t outrank who they might be guarding. Memorial Day commemorates the occasion in 1921 when four unidentified individuals were disinterred from four American cemeteries in France, all of whom had served in World War I. Sergeant Edward F. Younger of the Army was responsible for selecting the Unknown Soldier of World War I, who was subsequently interred in the tomb. The interment ceremonies were presided over by President Warren G. Harding and took place at the Memorial Amphitheater on November 11, 1921. #youtubeshorts #youtube #shortvideo #rifle #army #navy #marines #guns #grave
