They performed works by three persecuted and forgotten Jewish composers from Thuringia, most of which were only recently rediscovered and represent a remarkable addition to the repertoire of the 20th century. Finally, several works by Gustav Lewin (1869-1938) were presented, including his piano piece “Caprice“ and some songs. Lewin lived in Weimar from 1898, where he worked as a composer, conductor and teacher at the University of Music. In July 1933 he was dismissed from his offices there.
