Narrator informs us that two film stars live here - Michael Denison and his wife Dulcie Gray. Camera pans to the front of a house. Dissolve to interior. The two stars look at a model of the interior of their home. Their designer Bertram Tyrer places different pieces of paper representing wallpaper and carpets into the model. Michael and Dulcie discuss which they like. The narrator describes how if the wallpaper is patterned, a plain carpet makes the room more restful. Colour combinations are discussed. C/U of Bertram.
