Alana Hadid leads tens of thousands in DC rally for Gaza, calls for end to occupation

Alana Hadid, alongside tens of thousands of activists, made a powerful statement in downtown Washington DC, advocating for a ceasefire in Gaza and the end of US support for Israel. Near Freedom Plaza, just blocks from the White House, the air was filled with chants of “Free Free Palestine,” as demonstrators, under a canopy of Palestinian flags, called for an end to the Israeli government’s actions, which some equate to apartheid. Their urgent messages, through signs reading “Ceasefire Now” and “End the War in Gaza”, directly appealed to President Biden for a shift in foreign policy. This significant demonstration in DC is part of the “Global Day of Action for Gaza”, a worldwide initiative across 121 cities in 45 countries, seeking a permanent resolution to the conflict and liberation for all.
