Մեծ Բրիտանիայի Նոթինգհեմի համալսարանում փիլիսոփայական գիտությունների դոկտորի կոչման արժանանալուց հետո Մայր Աթոռ է վերադարձել կաթողիկոսական գրասենյակի գործավար-քարտուղար Գրիգորիս վարդապետ Շոխիկյանը։ Հայր սուրբը, Գևորգյան հոգևոր ճեմարանն ավարտելուց հետո, Վեհափառ հայրապետի օրհնությամբ, ուսումնառությունը շարունակել է Նոթինգեմի համալսարանի Աստվածաբանության և կրոնագիտության ֆակուլտետում: Archimandrite Grigoris Shokhikyan received the degree of doctor of philosophy After receiving the title of Doctor of Philosophical Sciences at Nottingham University in Great Britain, Grigoris Shokhikyan, clerk-secretary of the Catholicos office, returned to the Mother See.
