Andrzej Otremba plays Milonga Pampeana by Jean-Christophe Rosaz | Siccas Media

Andrzej Otremba plays Milonga Pampeana by Jean-Christophe Rosaz as part of our Siccas Media program (). This composition is an allegory of this immense space opening up before us as far as the eye can see that my grandmother, born there, often told me about. The melody with the characteristic rhythm carried by the wind appears then disappears in the middle of various evocations: passes a capybara (the largest known rodent), a “grass of the pampas” (large grass) sways nonchalantly in the wind, in the distance the nervous footsteps of a wild horse, and further still the roar of a puma… In short, a hymn to freedom!
