Saphos Rail Tours “Devonian Express“ ran today through Dawlish from Solihull to Plymouth. It began its journey under diesel power with LSL 47614 and made its way down through Warwick, Leamington Spa, Banbury, and Oxford picking up passengers before heading to Bristol Temple Meads. Here the diesel was put on the rear of the train and steam power provided by 46100 Royal Scot and 45231 Sherwood Forester worked in tandem at the head for the remainder of the journey to Plymouth.
