Massive wildfires spread in New South Wales state

Fire officials in Australia’s New South Wales state declared an emergency warning on Thursday for wildfires burning out of control north of Sydney. Firefighters backed by airtankers are working to protect properties. The cause of the inferno was not immediately clear.
