Russia has reportedly fine-tuned its air defence systems to make them capable of shooting down Excalibur-guided rockets. The claim was made by a renowned Russian military expert, Viktor Murakhovsky, while speaking to Russia’s RIA Novosti. Incidentally, these are the shells allegedly behind an attack on former Russian space boss Dmitry Rogozin in Donetsk in December 2022. The Russian expert said that the Russian air defence system fired guided missiles to destroy precision-guided munitions in the air.
