Toucan eating a bat in Costa Rica

We always imagine toucans as friendly fruit eaters, but they are actually omnivorous and quiet aggressive. While doing a birdwatching tour at Playa Cativo Lodge in Costa Rica, we saw tgis toucan killing and eating a bat. Playa Cativo is located in Golfo Dulce, the inner side of the Osa Peninsula and accross from Corcovado National Park.
