Insane Project!! Russia’s New Supercarrier Project 23000E (Storm) Russia Kicks Off Work on Engine for Nuclear-Powered Supercarrier Russia has begun research on engine designs for a planned nuclear-powered supercarrier, dubbed Project 23000E Shtorm (Storm). This marks a significant step forward in Russia’s ambitions to develop a new generation of aircraft carriers. The announcement was made by Rear Admiral Vladimir Tryapichnikov, the chief of the Russian Navy’s shipbuilding department, in a recent interview. He stated that research on engine designs for the Shtorm has officially commenced and that a specific concept will be chosen soon. The Shtorm is expected to be a massive vessel, displacing approximately 90,000-100,000 tons and boasting a length of 330 meters and a width of 40 meters.
