CRYOSLEEP // 002 Hey, Siv. Lately I’ve been remembering our trips more and more often. I remember bristled sky of the Earth. Bottomless darkness overhead. Black well of stars. And I, drawn there. I have strange dreams. They get colder the further I get from Earth. Colors are lost on the borders of a dying consciousness and all the warmth is sucked out with the force I cannot resist. Now death seems especially illusory to me. It does not scare me anymore. Now I know when we die we don’t disappear into the darkness. Where I am now and, most importantly, when, cancels the concreteness and significance of death. We are not leaving, the past in which we exist has already happened and will always be. All moments of the past, present and future have always existed. And they will always exist. Wait for me. I hope the Earth is still there. And if not, I’m sure you know how to fix it.
