BAmboo playing on shakuhachi flute of Nori Venugopal

This video was recordered in Tiruvannamalai, during the meeting with Nori, wonderful japanese master of bamboo flutes. He is making shakuhachi from Kerala bamboo. Of course this is not usual for shakuhachi, and timbre of flutes is sounds little bit like bansuri. But all his flutes are very well tuned, and made with all japanese neatness and minimalism. It was nice to play on them! Great plesure to meet Nori san and his wife Shri san!
