Carly Paoli: ’Because Of You’ D-Day Concert (Live from St. Luke’s Bombed Out Church)

“Because Of You“ D-Day Concert with Carly Paoli from St. Luke’s Bombed Out Church, Liverpool.  At a time like this, isolated from our loved ones, many of us could be feeling lost and lonely. Now more than ever we all have a responsibility to share hope and light wherever possible. One thing that the current ‘lockdown’ period has afforded me, is the chance to virtually ‘meet’ some amazing World War 2 veterans, some of whom were on the beaches at Normandy. They were part of my audience for my VE Day concert from home and they asked me if I could sing for them today, on the 76th Anniversary of the D-Day Normandy Landings. So, to honour their request, I’m doing a very special concert from an extra-special location, St. Luke’s Bombed Out Church in Liverpool. My concert is called “Because of You“, because we owe everything to the brave men and women who played their part during World War 2.
