Yulia Monastyrenko - Way to myself (Visual novel)

I found “Way to myself” in February 2018, when I was walking down the park and watching the trees covered by incredible hats of snow that sparkled in the sun. While admiring this beauty I’ve suddenly understood that I wanted to record this story immidietely. While weather and nature gave us such beauty, I was doing it in the place where I was born, in Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod region. This is the place where my roots begin, my grandparents are buried, this is the place where I spent my childhood and this is THE PLACE OF MY STRENGHT. This is almost an autobiographical story because all those places that are shown in the video have been familiar to me since my early childhood. Director Nikita Sugakov and cameraman Yegor Narizhny are showing the way of a person in a creative crisis of himself through a journey to his native land, visiting important places from childhood through communication with ordinary people, through faith and search for meaning and understanding of what is important in life!
