Civilians in Eastern Ghouta fleeing violence to hoped-for safety

From New China TV. As the Syrian crisis enters its eighth year, civilians in jihadist-held areas in East Ghouta of Damascus are flowing back to government-controlled areas. They say once the army loosened the jihadists’ grip on East Ghouta, they started fleeing through humanitarian corridors to seek safety.
