Ukraine invades Russia: Russian civilians seek shelter as fighting rages
More than a month has passed since Ukraine launched its invasion into Russia’s Kursk region, causing widespread disruption. Tens of thousands of civilians have been evacuated from the area as the fighting continues. Basic services are under strain, with electricity and water supplies disrupted in the region’s key cities. Russian forces are attempting to secure strategic points, but the situation remains tense. Many civilians are left without homes and essential services, facing ongoing uncertainty and challenges as the conflict continues.
