Ahed Tamimi | IMPRISONED AT 16 | Truth to Power with Lowkey

In this week’s Truth to Power @lowkeyonline is joined by activist and symbol of Palestinian resistance to Israeli occupation, Ahed Tamimi. When Ahed was 16-years-old she was arrested in the middle of the night after standing up to Israeli soldiers who had shot her cousin in the head with a rubber coated-steel bullet, putting him in a medically induced coma. Tamimi was charged with assault, incitement, and throwing stones, which sparked global protests in solidarity with her.
