Vera Razumovskaya plays Brahms Three Intermezzi op 117 - live 1950s
Inexplicably neglected Russian pianist Vera Razumovskaya playing Brahms’ 3 Intermezzi, op. 117, live in the ’50s. Razumovskaya (1904-1967) studied with Heinrich Neuhaus in Kiev and later Leonid Nikolayev in Leningrad. In 1930 she won second prize at the First All-Union Piano Competition. She taught at the Leningrad Conservatory, rarely giving recitals.
