I can’t figure out this time what made it happen It’s as if you had it all worked out from the cross I bear for not defending someone It’s enough to make me want to shout cause I tried, lord I tried I try love for any reason why you will tell me that I’m incapable of love then it hit like a brick what you told me when we were kids I can play (but I really don’t want to) understanding it would really take some doing and encasing it would be a crime so I’ll let it out and hope that something happens just to weigh your funky state of mind and it’s hard what to say when I never know from day to day if it’s me you want or are you just afraid of love and in case you decide that you’d rather have another guy I can play (but I really don’t want to) so I’ll take a chance and hope something happens anything you want from me is fine until then I’ll be round, I’ll be here for you to put me down
