B&T TP9 | The Finest Compact 9mm PDW? (RE4 TMP IRL)

The B&T TP9 is one of the coolest SBRs I own, but in a lot of ways is also probably the least practical. Originally created by Steyr as the TMP (as seen in Resident Evil 4 and other games and movies), B&T purchased the design and released the full auto MP9, then later the civilian TP-9. It’s marketed as the lightest 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbine on the market, and it certainly lives up to that claim in my experience. The rotating barrel design creates as very soft recoil impulse, which is particularly impressive given the ultra light and compact form factor. The all polymer design is a deviation from the remarkable Swiss precision engineering B&T has become known for with their APC, GHM and SPC platforms, but the unique design and features still manage to make it stand out in a crowd.
