Aleutian Islands, Alaska - natural lanscape and wildlife

The Aleutian Islands are a chain of 14 large volcanic islands and 55 smaller ones belonging to the U.S. state of Alaska. The islands, with their 57 volcanoes, form the northernmost part of the Pacific Ring of Fire. The islands comprise five groups (east to west): the Fox Islands, Islands of Four Mountains, Andreanof, Rat Islands, and Near Islands. Biggest islands are Unimak Island, Unalaska Island, Adak Island. The largest town is Unalska city.
