This politically incorrect wartime song was recorded by Jewish comedian, Ronald Frankau, in 1941. It makes fun of Hitler in a similar vein to Chaplin’s film “The Great Dictator”.
This song was requested some time ago, but I can’t remember who asked for it. It took me a long time to get around to recording it because I was unable to find the lyrics. Eventually I transcribed them as best I could, but I can not be sure they are correct. They may well be full of “Lady Mondegreen”s.
