666 [Duke Nukem Episode]

Fair warning disclaimer: this level pack (especially the first two levels) contains things that viewers can consider blasphemous, evil, and otherwise offensive. The authors added all that stuff in to condemn them as hellish and evil. So if you don’t like any of these things, consider yourself warned. Anyways, as promised, here’s one of the things I had planned for Halloween: a three level episode named 666, made by Jason & LOBO! The story is “The last letter of your bro had worried you. Within the monastery in which he’s studying as a novice, it seems strange things are happening. You read again the the end of his last letter: “I fear... There’s that hides in the darkness. The others have changed, the Worm has eaten into their faith. Their souls are rotten. I’d like to escape, I oughta save my mental health as long as I I can’t, you can’t understand, we’re not allowed to leave, evil’s everywhere... even within myself.“ You put apart the letter, you wear your boots, you take your gun out from your drawer and while thinking: “My bro’s always the same sucker“ you decide to investigate on that fucking monastery. When you arrive you enter the monastery, but as soon as you had entered a dark corridoir, the door behind you shuts mysteriously.“ Anyways, this was easily the most edgy episode I’ve ever played, way more so than NIB the nightmare edition. This pack wasn’t just evil in concept either, there’s plenty of traps and such made to deliberately piss you off. Still though, I had a bit of fun playing this one, and thought it would be good for a Halloween special. If you would like to play this level pack for yourself, you can download it here: Other episodes and total conversions I’ve played: Maps I’ve played: I used Duke Nukem 3D 1.3 and eduke32 to play this fan-made episode, and software to record it. I played on the “Come Get Some“ difficulty. Maps in this video are below, and include descriptions for them and timestamps: The Monastery: (0:00) We have to fight our way up to the Monk’s bedrooms. Our brother’s room is empty, and it’s clear from the other Monk’s bedrooms that they are sinister, disturbing or just downright weird. We have to activate all the switches, find the necronomicon, and get the hell outta there. Unholy Church: (8:34) With the Necronomicon in hand and having escaped death, we find he church partially collapsed and more evil secrets, but still no brother. Now we have to find the bishop and his secrets... Catacombs of Death: (18:02) It seems that evil nests in every corner. We find the way out the catacombs hoping to rescue our stupid brother.
